THE WAY TO GO

On his bike

he tries to work

with the wind.

If it blows west,

he says that’s where

he loves to go.

If it turns east,

it's easy for him

to head for the sea.

Taking a tip

from the wind

is the way to go.

A great breath

of beautiful southern wind

sends his handlebars happily south.

A push north

by the wind

is a good reason

to roll his wheels

toward snowy woods

that wave

when the wind does.
